
Damonte McKenzie brings elite playing experience and professional training expertise to athlete development. A former standout at Lake City High School, McKenzie earned All-State honors, Defensive Player of the Year recognition, and a selection to the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas before receiving a full athletic scholarship to Clemson University.
At Clemson, he became a four-year letterman and two-year starting defensive tackle, earning All-ACC Honorable Mention and Strength and Conditioning All-American honors. He later continued his football career professionally, spending time with multiple NFL organizations and competing in NFL Europe.
Following his playing career, McKenzie returned to Clemson, contributing to the football program as a strength and conditioning coach, defensive line assistant, and defensive analyst.
McKenzie holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Clemson University and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, CPR/AED certified professional, and licensed Health & Physical Education teacher. His mission is to help athletes develop the strength, discipline, confidence, and preparation needed to perform at their highest level.
